WAC concludes a training on ” Providing humanitarian services from a gender perspective”

WAC conducted (6) days (5 hours each day) training entitled (Providing humanitarian services from a gender perspective) during the period: 11/10 to 18/10/2017. The training targeted (30) representatives (female and male board members, management staff and volunteers) of (15) partner women CBOs/NGOs. The training tackled 6 topics as following:  Engendering the humanitarian services in Palestine, HRBA and its role in gendering the humanitarian services, IHL and IHR,  SOPs/referral pathways, Advocacy and lobbying skills, and  Observing and reporting women and girls’ cases of human rights violations using social media.

The training aims to change agents in their communities working to increase respect for IHL and IHRL and strengthen accountability for violations.
