The training is under the project of “improving gender equality and empowering women and youth with the reproductive rights” which is implemented by WAC with partnering with Ministry of Social Affairs and UNFPA funded by Danish Foreign Ministry.
The main topics in the training were contacting &communication, decision Making, team work, building self-confidence, negotiation &solving conflicts between youth, time management, enhancing healthy life in teenage, puberty and adolescence ,the social role for men and woman, healthy food for teenagers, physical activities, and smoking.
Wisam Joudeh (Advocacy Coordinator) said that this activity is targeting the coming beneficiaries to vocational training Centers that belong to Ministry of social affairs, and before it there were training for trainers, social workers, and staff in the centers to be able to present the training for beneficiaries. This training will impact positively on them.
Participants recommended on their need for more training with concentrating on the practical sides to be able to practices skills, and also the need for supervisors and trainers for more specialized trainings to be able to deals with all beneficiaries in centers.
And they recommended also on necessary to execute more trainings to boys and girls who are in vocational centers in the same topics and concentrating on the parts related to team work, negotiation, solving conflicts and linking it with our reality.
